Add your own groups or have more than group1 group2 or Boys/Girls
were a special school and sometimes our classes are split into 3,4,5,6,7 different groups it would be a good idea to be able to input your own extra group names
3 votesYou can add your own groups and change their names using Manage > Classes > Select class > Divisions (last button on the right of the grid).
Here you can add new group to existing division (Group 1 or Group 2), change existing group names and short names or delete groups (only when you have more than 2 groups in a row) http://www.primetimetable.com/help/data/division/(There is also an option of copying divisions and groups to other classes with Copy button)

Maximum periods per day for each class, between first and last lesson
We have lessons running from the morning until the evening, but we don't want to schedule a class to start in the first period of the day and have them stay until the last period of the day.
I would like to have a maximum time set for each class between when their first lesson of the day starts, and their last lesson of the day ends.3 votesUse the red marker to forbid the first and the last periods in the class master view. More about marker: https://primetimetable.com/help/#marker

Can you create a setting that would allow you to request that a teacher not teach the same class back to back?
For example:
Mr. Smith's class has science three times per cycle. If Ms. Jones teaches Mr. Smith's science class on Day 1, I don't want her to teach them on Day 2 as well. I want at least one day in between. Please help! This is the ONLY function missing from this amazing site :)3 votesThank you for adding suggestion for improvement. This can be done on a subject level. You can create a specific subject, e.g. ‘Science for Mr. Smith class’, expand ‘Day off’ and check ‘Insert day off if taught 2 times per cycle’ and ‘Insert day off if taught 3 times per cycle’. Use this subject when adding related Science activities.
If Insert day off if taught 2 times per cycle is checked, that subject will not be scheduled on subsequent days, e.g. having that subject on Monday and Tuesday will show an error notification.
In case that Insert day off if taught 3 times per cycle is checked, having subject on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will cause error notification for a specific class, whereas Monday, Tuesday, Thursday will be valid.
